Both electric and petrol bikes are offered on 0% markup installments through the Bank of Punjab. You only return the actual price of the bike in small monthly payments over about two years.
Where your money goes
Understanding the plan is easy. Here is exactly what you pay and what the government pays.
Government subsidy
Up to Rs 70,000 is taken off the price of every electric bike by the Punjab government.
Down payment
You pay a small down payment (from about Rs 14,000) to book your bike.
Monthly kist
The rest is split into easy monthly installments for ~24 months, with 0% interest.

Female students pay even less
